DISCOVER THE POWER OF A PURE
AND CLEAN BODY

Detox is the most effective cleansing of the body of toxins using controlled fasting. It takes five days. During Marta Gladun's - Shambhala Detox, we refrain from eating. Instead, we use a specially selected mixture of herbs, composed by doctors from New Zealand, which allow faster elimination of toxins, deposits, and excess cholesterol from the body. The physical cleansing of the body is accompanied by mental cleansing: from stress, depressive thoughts, and fatigue. It is primarily a time for oneself - in nature, in silence, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

OUR AGENDA

Shambhala Detox is all about nature, silence, and self-care. We start on the day of arrival at 4 p.m. and finish on the fifth day before noon. We work with the body, mind, and soul. During the day, you can expect long walks, meditation sessions, ancient yoga & breathing exercises, and mind-quieting activities. During the evenings, you will have a liver cleanse, sauna and steaming room sessions, and evening journaling. Using a combination of techniques, such as detoxification, fasting, colonic hydrotherapy and massage, we will bring about an awakening of the body, mind and soul, allowing you to regain your lost health, energy and spiritual wellness.

During fasting and detoxification, it is imperative to keep your bowels clear. Colonic hydrotherapy speeds up the detoxification process and prevents the reabsorption of toxic substances into your bloodstream.

The last day is dedicated to the Hopi Ear Candle treatment, an ancient and natural therapy that can relieve issues such as sinus problems, compacted ear wax, tinnitus, and headaches. We also have the Zapper Treatment to increase immunity using Dr. Hilda Clark's method.

A detox program carried out by a professional will not only rid your body of toxins, parasites, and heavy metals that are slowing you down but also replace them with the vitamins and minerals that you need to truly shine from within and fulfill your emotional, mental, spiritual and professional potential.

HOW TO PREPARE

Five days without a meal is undoubtedly a challenge for a body used to eating unhealthy meals, often in a hurry. Therefore, you should be adequately prepared for the cleanse. At least a week before the detox, we recommend consuming only fruit and vegetables (preferably warm) and drinking freshly squeezed juices and herbal teas. During this time, abstain from sugar, salt, meat, dairy products, and bread. We give up coffee and black tea. Easily digestible meals allow the tissues of the digestive organs to relax and the stomach to shrink gradually, ideally preparing for a six-day cleansing therapy. Good preparation for detox guarantees easy cleansing and a complete absence of hunger for five days.

WHAT DO WE EAT AFTER DETOX

After a detox program, you will feel an increase in vitality, health, and energy shift. This promotes the foundation for more healthy and natural lifestyle practices in the future and, hopefully, a longer and happier life.

After the cleanse, you will want to change your diet - towards a more balanced diet. During our retreat, you will learn the general principles of macrobiotic nutrition and cooking according to the five elements cuisine. We return to our everyday lifestyle slowly and gradually. Baked apples, steamed and baked vegetables, and freshly squeezed juices will gently get your body back to eating. A cleansed body has the natural instinct to identify and select foods beneficial to your health and vitality. Your body will reject those foods that don't work for you. Bernard Shaw, an American writer who often fasted for many days, used to say that anyone can carry out a hunger strike, but only a wise man can finish it properly.
